Mammal watching

It was a passion for the natural world that first inspired me to pursue degrees in biology and then environmental economics, and it's that interest that has led me to search for some of the world's rarest mammals. Below are some reports which provide details for some of those trips - hopefully the information in them is useful to anyone planning a trip. They're also hosted on Jon Hall's excellent website. I'm also planning on adding a life mammal and destination list here soon, and you're more than welcome to contact me for any information on that if you want to.... And if you're going mammal-ing please consider offsetting your carbon - you can caculate how much you'll have emitted here, and offset it by paying for forest conservation in Gola rainforest in Sierra Leone here.

While I thoroughly enjoy mammal-watching in itself, I am also always excited to show other people the wonders of the natural world. It is this which has led me to begin acting as a tour leader for Pictus Safaris, who you can find more out about here.
